FLAKO STIK is the Latin tech house alter ego of talented music producer Balo, a rising star in the house music scene. His Latin roots merge seamlessly with underground sounds, resulting in music that is both fresh and groovy. Growing up in the US/MX border region between Juarez and El Paso, FLAKO STIK experienced the collision of Mexican music and American popular culture firsthand. He believes that living the Latino way is not limited to those born into it, and his music reflects this sentiment. Additionally, FLAKO STIK remakes classic Latin and Mexican songs into modern minimal tech house, connecting with a wider audience while honoring his cultural heritage.

FLAKO STIK's achievements are a testament to his talent and hard work, even early at his career. His single ‘MARCIANO’ is a viral sensation on TikTok in Spanish with almost half a million videos including latin superstar Karol G, Sergio Ramos and hundreds of TikTok influencers with millions of views. ‘MARCIANO’ has almost 4 million streams on Spotify giving FLAKO STIK over 480,000 monthly listeners in the past months. FLAKO STIK’s version of ‘ZA ZA ZA’ caught attention of the song’s original songwriters receiving direct support on the release. Volume 2 of FLAKO STIK’s successful EP “LA RUTA X MEXICO Vol. 1” is set to be released this summer 2024. Maintaining pace, his remix of the Spanish classic song 'The Ketchup Song (Aserejé)' and ‘Caraluna’ has been played in the best clubs around the world with a new remix pack to be released this summer. FLAKO STIK also organized his own boat party to promote his debut EP 'THE DANCING ROOM,' which featured song clips that went viral on TikTok. Additionally, FLAKO STIK is releasing his new EP called “LA PERRERA EP” with a more dark, flirty approach to latin house music, featuring Dominican Republic upcoming artist Jankobow.
